Walt Disney World Resort is preparing for a big summer with new attractions, shows, and family entertainment during Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, running May 26 through September 8, 2026. The seasonal celebration brings kid-focused experiences, character appearances, and special resort perks across all four Disney parks.
New Attractions and Experiences Opening in 2026
Several new and updated offerings will debut throughout the spring and summer.
- April 8: Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin reopens at Magic Kingdom with upgraded blasters, interactive targets, and new PhotoPass score photos.
- May 22: A new mission featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu launches at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- May 26: Soarin’ Across America returns to EPCOT in celebration of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
Bluey and Disney Jr. Experiences for Kids
Families with younger children will see several new entertainment options across the resort.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Bluey and Bingo will appear in a new play experience at Conservation Station beginning May 26.
Meanwhile, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! will debut at Hollywood Studios, allowing families to dance and interact with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends.
Limited-Time Cool KIDS’ SUMMER Entertainment
During the event, guests can enjoy several special activities:
- Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue at the Diamond Horseshoe featuring characters from Toy Story.
- GoofyCore Party inside CommuniCore Hall with DJ dance breaks and interactive games.
- Family dance parties at Disney Springs.
Water Park Fun and Nighttime Events
Disney’s water parks will also feature special character appearances this summer.
Guests visiting Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park may see Goofy, while Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will host playful visits from Stitch.
The popular H2O Glow After Hours nighttime event will return to Typhoon Lagoon on select nights from June 2 through September 5.
