The show includes a magical display of fireworks on select nights. The Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour returns, offering a spooky stroll through Disneyland Park with reserved viewing for “Halloween Screams” and a special Haunted Mansion photo opportunity.

Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park

From August 23 to November 2, 2024, Disney California Adventure Park celebrates Día de los Muertos with Plaza de la Familia. This vibrant tribute honors familial bonds and the spirit of the holiday with colorful décor, lively entertainment, and delicious Mexican cuisine.

1. “The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco!”

Beginning August 30, enjoy a new show featuring live performances of songs from Pixar’s “Coco,” including “Remember Me” and “The World Es Mi Familia.” This heartwarming celebration brings to life the power of family through music and dance, celebrating the essence of Día de los Muertos.

2. Themed Dining and Merchandise

Paradise Garden Grill offers a limited-time menu with Mexican-inspired dishes like al pastor tacos and chile verde chicken flautas. Plus, new “Coco” merchandise will be available, including a special collection starting September 3.

In Frontierland, Disneyland Park joins the Día de los Muertos festivities with skeleton figurines, marigolds, and vibrant floral displays, creating a festive atmosphere where Miguel from “Coco” makes special appearances.

Available for the first time as a daily offering during the 2024 Halloween season at the Disney Theater in Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., the interactive “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” show will encourage younger guests to join in a not-so-scary sing and dance-along with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
