Walt Disney World is turning up the fun for families once again as Cool Kids’ Summer returns from May 26 through September 8 — and this year, it’s bigger, brighter, and packed with brand-new experiences designed especially for kids (and kids at heart).
From beloved character encounters to refreshed attractions and exclusive resort perks, summer 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons yet at Disney World.
New Character Experiences Across the Parks
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
For the first time ever, guests can play, dance, and meet Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station. Inspired by the wildly popular children’s show, this interactive experience includes games, meet-and-greets, and fun opportunities to learn about animals native to Australia.
Magic Kingdom
At the Diamond Horseshoe, Toy Story characters are taking over with a brand-new western revue. Kids can craft, dance, and even yodel alongside their favorite Pixar pals in this lively, hands-on show.
EPCOT
Cool Kids’ Summer takes over CommuniCore Hall, where Goofy, the Goof Troop, and DJ Dance Pants bring the party. Families can dance together and play interactive games at Goofy’s Game Machine, featuring activities like Goofy Says, Balloon Bonanza, and Parachutes ’n’ Pipsqueaks.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
A new stage show, “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!”, debuts this summer. Inspired by the hit TV series, the show invites guests to join Mickey and Minnie on a fun-filled journey to find Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto — turning the audience into part of the adventure.
Attraction Updates & Big Debuts
Summer also brings exciting updates to some fan-favorite attractions:
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will feature updated ride vehicles and brand-new blasters.
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (starting May 22) introduces a new storyline starring The Mandalorian and Grogu, with guests choosing which planets their mission will visit — a first for the attraction.
- Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets debuts this summer, replacing the Aerosmith theme with Muppet mayhem.
- Soarin’ Across America returns to EPCOT by Memorial Day in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday.
